Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of facilities, help maintain roads, clear ditches, mow and trim cemeteries and parks, snowplow in the winter, perform general maintenance on vehicles, and various other tasks as needed around the township. Duties Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of roads to ensure safety and functionality. Perform general maintenance on vehicles to ensure they run correctly. Manage and maintain water drainage along roadways. The ability to safely run a lawn mower or weed eater for several hours. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident or trustee concerns promptly and professionally. Organized, honest, hard working, and cares about the community. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Qualifications Proven experience in any area. Strong communication and organization skills. High school diploma. Clean driving record, driver's license, and a reliable vehicle. Ability to take the initiative to get things done. Must be able to pass a drug test. Ability to operate machinery and use tools. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
