This role is essential in upholding our company's image and keeping our operations teams working safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of fleet vehicles and equipment, including power equipment, mowers, trucks, trailers, and other landscape tools Recondition vehicles and equipment twice a year to ensure they meet company image standards and are safe, reliable, and ready for use Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Accurately document and maintain service and repair records Provide exceptional internal customer service, prioritizing efficiency, quality, and communication Assist with other operational tasks as assigned Qualifications A safety-first mindset with a commitment to adhering to safety regulations and promoting safe work practices Minimum of one year of hands-on mechanical experience Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with gas/diesel vehicles and landscaping equipment Ability to supply personal tools as needed to perform the role Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization Strong communication and organizational skills Keen attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality Experience with diesel engines and bilingual ability (English/Spanish) are preferred but not required What we provide: Competitive salary with weekly pay Medical benefits with dental and vision Flexible Spending Account 401(k) plan Paid time off and holidays for work/life balance Family-oriented company culture General description Ruppert Landscape is a commercial landscape construction and management company, a family-owned and employee-owned business, headquartered in Montgomery County, MD, with operations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Delaware, and Tennessee.
