Job Description

Make a difference in your community and join our team today! We are looking for full-time or part-time Maintenance Assistant.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Reports to the Operations Director, and performs duties related to maintaining the facility and grounds. May include duties related to pool cleaning, snow removal, grounds keeping, painting, light plumbing, and other related responsibilities. Maintenance Assistant - Full-Time OR Part-Time General facility and preventative maintenance Minor repairs and maintenance projects Painting and light plumbing Groundskeeping and seasonal maintenance Pool cleaning and maintenance Operating maintenance equipment Setup and tear-down for special events Variety of other maintenance projects throughout the YMCA Previous maintenance experience is helpful but not required Willingness to learn and develop maintenance skills Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Someone who enjoys hands-on work and a variety of tasks Training will be provided for the right candidate
