$25.00 Perform general building maintenance and repairs Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility
Position Purpose:
We value the safety of our associates! The Building Mechanic keeps our associates safe by maintaining all equipment inside the warehouses/buildings and ensuring it meets industry standards and operates efficiently according to its specific tasks. The Building Maintenance Worker position will perform the following duties: Assists in the proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials and systems at the distribution plant/designated building. Records data from main electrical panels. Inspects various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; record data from inspections. Tests sprinkler system's water flow, tamper switches and sprinkler system alarms. Inspects all equipment and repair or replace as necessary to avoid down time. Inspects, lubricates and cleans condensers and evaporators. Performs annual inspections on refrigeration compressors, including change oil and filter, disassemble compressor for internal inspection and align mechanical couplings. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Obtains work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations. Performs daily safety checks. Performs maintenance, repairs, and installations on various equipment within guidelines of processes and standards. Maintains, replaces, builds, adjusts, and modifies the facilities, buildings, and the grounds according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations. Performs general housekeeping duties and keep maintenance area orderly and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary reports and paperwork. Performs other related duties as assigned. #

  • conveyor shaft
  • motor and bearing replacement
  • etc.
in a warehouse environment
