Maintenance Mechanic Helper Pay Rate :
$31.68 per hour
Category/Shift :
Hourly Full-Time 8am-4pm Monday-Friday Some overtime required

The Job You Will Perform:
Work as an Ink Production Employee as qualified and needed per business requirements in all responsibilities of the Ink Combination position Help drive plant and offsite blend plant, safety and operational improvement efforts Provide assistance in maintaining, operating and repairing plant equipment, facilities and capital projects Accurately prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork as needed Maintain a positive relationship with key stakeholders including: customers, manufacturing, customer service and sales support. Effectively communicate with Production Supervisor and Lead Maintenance Mechanic through active participation in production meetings, project planning meetings, maintenance priority meetings and safety meetings Assist in coordinating with contractors and vendors as needed Assist in capital planning process for the business and give input on new equipment purchases and major modifications of existing equipment Support waste and other process improvement initiatives utilizing structured problem solving and employee engagement to yield positive results Direct as needed, other team members for project planning and completion at the plant and offsite plants Willing to work Overtime and flexible hours to include alternative shifts as needed Other duties as specified by
Supervisor The Skills You Will Bring:
Goal oriented and a self-starter Strong interpersonal and communication skills Must have computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) Excellent attendance record Willingness to travel 5% of time for projects at off-site locations and training Safety focused and adherence to corporate safety policy Desire to work in a fast-paced environment Experience working on medium to heavy manufacturing machinery preferred Must be able to lift a 50-pound container
Preferred:
Ability to perform plumbing work and background as a qualified electrician
