Monday-Friday 📌 Contract-to-Hire Opportunity BG Staffing is seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to support a thriving apartment community in Tigard, OR 97223. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in maintaining apartment homes and community amenities while providing exceptional service to residents. Key Responsibilities

Complete maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.

Perform general maintenance repairs, including:

Plumbing repairs and troubleshooting

Electrical diagnostics and basic repairs

Appliance maintenance and repair

Carpentry, drywall repair, and general property upkeep

Assist with apartment turns, make-readies, and move-in preparations.

Maintain community grounds, common areas, and shared amenities.

Respond to resident maintenance requests with excellent customer service.

Ensure all work meets company safety standards and quality expectations.

Support daily maintenance operations and property appearance.

Qualifications

Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.

Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance functions.

Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independently.

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Strong communication and customer service skills.
