Job Description
Colwyn Borough is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Public Works Department as a Maintenance Worker. Responsibilities include maintaining Borough streets, parks, buildings, grounds, vehicles and equipment. Duties may include street repairs, snow removal, mowing and landscaping, trash and leaf collection, building maintenance, operating trucks and equipment, and assisting with emergency response. The position requires outdoor physical work in varying weather conditions and occasional overtime or on-call availability, particularly during snow and weather emergencies. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Pennsylvania driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely operate tools and equipment. Related Public Works experience is preferred. Candidates must be dependable, safety-conscious, able to perform physically demanding work, and courteous when interacting with residents.
