POSITION SUMMARY:
Silver Spring Township is seeking applications for (1) full-time position with the Public Works Department as a Roads Maintenance Worker. Responsibilities include road and storm water infrastructure repair, leaf collection, and snow removal. Knowledge of road maintenance and paving material work and terminology is a must. Applicants must be able to operate motorized highway equipment including dump trucks, graders, backhoes, front-end loaders, rollers, tractors and tiger mowers. Class B CDL and prior roadwork experience are preferred. Work may include weekends, evenings and on-call hours during inclement weather.
