Job Description

Responsible for supporting daily property operations, maintenance, janitorial services, preventative maintenance, resident support, and emergency response while maintaining a safe, clean, and professional condominium community.
  • Inspect, monitor, clean, maintain common areas, amenities, vestibules, offices, laundry rooms, community room, guest room, and building grounds while managing the consumables required to support each. (i.e., cleaner, rags, trash bags)
  • Always present yourself in a professional and respectful manner, which encompasses both your physical appearance and personal hygiene.
  • Remove trash from office areas and condominium perimeter daily.
  • Meticulously maintains vestibule appeal including sweeping, vacuuming, cobweb removal, light electrical maintenance, and carpet repair as needed.
  • Perform assigned maintenance tasks and assist with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, lighting, and minor repair work.
  • Keeping the Community/Assistant Manager and Management Office generally informed of all maintenance and property concerns/issues promptly.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and upkeep of building operating systems as needed.
  • Safely operate cleaning equipment, golf cart, power tools, hand tools, and approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Maintain cleaning schedules and community appearance standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers on-site as needed.
  • Delivery of notices as needed and represent the community professionally with residents, staff, contractors, and vendors.
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage as part of a 24-hour emergency maintenance schedule. Responds promptly to on-call coverage regarding maintenance emergencies and safety concerns.
  • Perform additional maintenance, janitorial, and administrative duties as assigned.
  • 1-2 years of general maintenance, with janitorial, landscaping and/or building operations experience preferred.
  • Experience with residential and multi-family building maintenance preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of residential building systems, maintenance procedures, and workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment, tools, and cleaning machinery.
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, use independent judgment when needed and function as part of a team.
  • Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, lift heavy objects, and perform physical labor.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, extended hours, and emergency on-call shifts as needed.
  • Perform monthly walk-about property inspections when needed.
  • Handle all requests from Site Superintendent and Community Manager.
  • Compassionately handle homeowners when in a crisis and resolve the crisis.

Pay:
$33,280.00 - $52,000.00 per year
