About Us The mission of Residential Care Services, Inc. is to enhance the quality of life for persons in mental health recovery by providing individualized community-based support while promoting dignity, health, and wellness. Maintenance Worker The maintenance personnel must keep offices, apartment houses, or similar buildings in clean and orderly condition. The maintenance personnel will be responsible for minimal repairs and general upkeep of Residential Care Services' 8 facilities. This includes but is not limited to the following: General painting for rooms and buildings, patching of dry wall. The maintenance personnel will be responsible for kitchen and bathroom repairs. Must clean snow and debris from sidewalks and mows lawns, trims shrubbery and cultivate flowers in the appropriate seasons. The maintenance personnel will be responsible for general hauling, moving equipment, and furniture, when appropriate. Schedule appointments for utilities, service companies, contractors and provide access to apartments when necessary. The employee will start and end at the Corporate Office in Forest Hills. Other Skills and Abilities While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds or more.
