Position Overview The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is looking to hire a Site Technician 2 at Shabbona Lake State Park for the Office of Land Management. This position will use their skills to perform routine tasks in the operation, mainteance, and improvement of site grounds and satelite locations. This will include repairs to vehicles and equipment, maintenance of buildings and grounds, and tasks related to outdoor recreational program. Shabbona Lake State Park is 1,550 acres located in Shabbona Township, Dekalb county. Shabbona Lake is a man-made lake created in 1975 and contains a 15-acre seasonal nesting area for migratory waterfowl.
