Job Description

Carolina Motorsports Park (Carolina Motorsports Park, LLC) in Kershaw, SC is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated members to join our dynamic team. Qualified Maintenance Workers will be responsible for the essential upkeep of the facility; including but not limited to, repair and maintenance of the facility, road course, kart track and buildings, operation of heavy equipment such as tractors, mowers, etc., assisting with spills, repairs or incidents on the road course or kart track, general upkeep of property and more. The ideal candidate is someone who can adapt to a fast-pace, high-demand, outdoor work environment, be a team player and is open to growth within Carolina Motorsports Park. Applicant must be responsible, reliable and attentive. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Responsibilities:
Drive a registered pickup truck to obtain parts or equipment for maintenance. Drive heavy equipment and vehicles to various locations on the property with attachments to haul, sweep debris from paved surfaces, mow grass, etc. Inspect and repair issues pertaining to proper use of the road course (i.e. drainage issues, asphalt issues, timing loops, etc.) Inspect and repair issues pertaining to proper function of buildings and facilities. Haul and disperse or properly dispose of material on property. Install or repair guardrails, track barriers and perform other track maintenance repairs. Perform preemptive maintenance work on tracks, vehicles and equipment. Assist with general grounds-keeping, such as mowing, foliage control, clean-up and trimming. Assist with general cleaning duties, including but not limited to, upkeep of restroom cleanliness and paper stock, garbage removal from full bins, etc. Perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
Skills:
Preferred 1-year experience in maintenance. Must have valid driver's license. Must have clean driving record. Must know how to safely operate heavy machinery (such as tractors, mowers, etc.) Use and knowledge of common hand tools. Must have some knowledge on electrical and equipment maintenance. (HVAC is a plus.) Must have the ability to lift or move 25-75+ pounds. Must have the ability to operate digital radios for local track communications. Must have the ability to use online scheduling software. Must be reliable, helpful and a team player.
