He or she will assist in all areas of production and facilities equipment and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (with further technical coursework preferred) and at least one year of experience with in an industrial environment. Strong computer skills a plus. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and outstanding customer service skills as well as the ability to work without close supervisory direction and to complete the job without constant assignment of tasks. In addition, candidates must be able to work safely utilizing proper protective equipment at all times and apply the concept of LOTO
- Lockout / Tag out and must meet the physical requirements of the position, which include the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, stand for long periods of time, and work in the elements.
Responsibilities Performs preventive, predictive, and other proactive maintenance work scopes for production (CNC equipment) and facility assets Conducts predictive maintenance inspections using predictive technologies such as vibration analysis, ultrasonic, oil analysis, and thermography Helps complete work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments on all production and facilities equipment Completes surveillance routes, filter changes, lubrication, and preventive maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery such as mills, lathes, grinders conveyors, coolant systems, dust collectors, and pumps Operate other machines such as balers that compress materials into easy-to-transport bundles Participates in plant safety, health, and environmental programs Ensures all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed Develops, prepares, and presents recommendations and reports as requested Maintains clean machines, coolant lines, and sumps Maintains a clean and orderly work environment while ensuring housekeeping duties are completed as required Securely stores equipment and supplies Operates forklift and scissor lift and performs daily forklift inspections per required criteria Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate a plus At least 1 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with basic office computer software and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts highly preferred Ability to utilize CMMS for tracking work activities Ability to assist in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment Must have good mathematical skills Able to stand, walk, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat or kneel, and bend constantly; able to sit, handle/finger, and reach outward frequently Company Description We are a customer-focused, integrated maintenance company operating projects throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic states.
