Job Description
Responsibilities Join the team at Westminster Towers in Rock Hill, SC! We are a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). We are seeking a full time reliable, hands-on repair professional to handle preventative maintenance, unit turns, and general repairs across our beautiful senior living campus.
Core Responsibilities Work Order Completion:
Respond to daily maintenance requests submitted by residents and staff, prioritizing emergencies and basic repairs.Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and scheduled servicing on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to prevent major equipment failures.Apartment/Unit Turnovers:
Prepare units for new occupants, which includes painting, deep cleaning, drywall repair, and fixture installations.General Trades Work:
Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in carpentry, masonry, painting, appliance repair, and flooring.Resident Assistance:
Assist residents with minor in-home tasks, such as hanging pictures, adjusting thermostats, or mounting televisions.Campus & Grounds Upkeep:
Perform safety checks, assist with event setups, and help maintain the aesthetic and functional appeal of community grounds. Performs general building repairs - basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting etc. Performs routine and preventative maintenance on installed/fixed and portable equipment. Performs safety tests on fire alarm, suppression systems and emergency call systems. Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred Vocational and/or similar training in general electric, plumbing, carpentry and mechanical maintenance 2+ years experience in residential to light commercial maintenanceJob Type:
