Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and knowledgeable Campus Maintenance Worker to provide a variety of services for our on-campus facilities. This position is responsible for routine preventive maintenance and repairs across six cottages/buildings and multiple outdoor recreational areas. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working with their hands, and can handle a variety of maintenance, repair and general campus upkeep tasks with minimal supervision.
Schedule:
8:30 am - 3:00 pm, 3 days per week Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation Ability to pass required drug screening, physical and background checks Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or painting Ability to perform general household repairs and maintenance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and situations Model Christian character and morality for children, staff, and visitors Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Building Maintenance Technology Expertise in one or more of the following: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting Knowledge of swimming pool maintenance or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance and necessary repairs Complete basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repair tasks Inspect facilities and report safety or maintenance concerns Help ensure facilities meet applicable state and local requirements Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas Assist with moving, setup, and other campus needs Keep the campus clean, safe, and well-maintained.
