Job Description

Maintenance/Environmental Service Assistant Fire Watch Personnel - Job Description The Fire Watch Personnel is responsible for conducting building safety inspections every 30 minutes throughout their assigned shift to identify any signs of smoke, fire, hazardous conditions, or fire safety concerns.
Responsibilities:
Perform and document building patrols every 30 minutes. Observe and report any signs of smoke, fire, unusual odors, or unsafe conditions immediately. Ensure emergency exits and fire safety equipment remain accessible. Maintain an accurate Fire Watch Log, recording the time and completion of each patrol. Notify management and emergency services as required if fire or life safety hazards are identified. Review, complete, and sign the Fire Watch Log at the end of the shift, confirming all required rounds were performed.
Requirements:
Ability to walk the entire building at scheduled intervals. Strong attention to detail and reliability. Ability to follow emergency procedures and communicate effectively.
