Description Job Summary:
Support the department and maintenance team by performing basic, routine building maintenance tasks under direct supervision in a healthcare environment, assisting with preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and light repairs. Builds foundational skills in safety, tools, and service excellence.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Provides basic facility maintenance support including inspections, preventive tasks, and assisting skilled trades in a healthcare environment. Perform light repairs and preventive maintenance such as positive pressure checks and hood inspections on facility systems. Assist skilled trades with larger repair and installation projects. Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, checking sprinkler gauges and minor building components. Complete work orders in system. Report building issues promptly to supervisors. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas. Support emergency response activities as directed. Completes proper maintenance and documented in compliance with DNV standards Completes all activities in compliance with codes and regulatory standards All other mechanical duties as assigned.

Enrolled in Facility Maintenance Program from trade school
