Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise in customer service, electrical and mechanical knowledge, and leadership skills will be crucial in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
  • Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Fabricate or modify parts to ensure proper fit and functionality
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
  • Supervise and train junior maintenance staff as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related concerns
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Skills:
  • Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with staff and address their maintenance needs
  • Proficient in English language to understand manuals, schematics, and safety guidelines
  • Electrical and mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions
  • Familiarity with schematics and logic controllers for troubleshooting purposes
  • Ability to fabricate or modify parts using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Leadership skills to supervise and guide junior maintenance staff
