Job Description
Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and keeping facilities running smoothly? We're looking for a dependable General Maintenance Worker to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in building maintenance, mechanical repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Morristown, TN Schedule:
Monday- Friday | 6:00 PM
- 6:00 AM, rotating 2/3/2 schedule.
Training:
First week will be on day shift, 6:ooAM-6:00PM Possible Temp-to-Hire Opportunity Key Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair motors, pumps, conveyors, belts, fans, air conditioning, heating systems, and other facility equipment.
- Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring, and plaster repairs.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including changing filters, light bulbs, locks, paper dispensers, and other building fixtures.
- Disassemble equipment, replace worn or damaged parts, and inspect completed repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Assist skilled trades personnel with maintenance projects while learning additional skills.
- Help maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, equipment, and replacement parts.
- Support groundskeeping, snow removal, and facility projects as needed.
- Assist with special events or emergency maintenance situations when required.
- Operate maintenance carts or other company vehicles as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
- Report safety concerns, accidents, and equipment issues promptly while participating in regular safety meetings and training. Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of general maintenance or related experience.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or facility maintenance preferred.
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform routine repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Basic computer and mobile device skills (email, texting, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety practices and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 40 pounds throughout the workday.
