A Maintenance Helper or Assistant assists maintenance mechanics. Repairs and maintains equipment and machines, such as cars or heating systems. May assemble or adjust machines as directed by a head mechanic.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines, mechanical equipment, and building systems Paint, patch walls, and complete general carpentry and flooring repairs Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document completed work Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment issues Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Assist with emergency maintenance needs and support facility operations during emergency situations Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs Ability to troubleshoot equipment and mechanical systems Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and kneeling Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Join our team as a Maintenance Worker if you are passionate about outdoor environments, skilled in groundskeeping techniques, and committed to maintaining safe and attractive spaces.
