DESCRIPTION

This position reports to the Crew Leader. This position will serve as equipment operator, participate in repairs, maintenance, and construction of all utility related infrastructure for the City of Anna. This position may act as lead person in the absence of the Crew Leader.

Qualifications:

High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g., data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must possess a valid Class B CDL at time of hire.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and MVR check.

Minimum 1 Class C and 1 Class equivalent TCEQ for Water Distribution or Wastewater Collection.

Examples:

Class C Water Distribution and Class I collections. Class D Water and Class II or above Collection.

Ability to obtain C equivalents in Water and Wastewater within 12 months after accepting the position.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
