Job Description

Job Summary The Maintenance Helper must act according to Leedo's core values: doing the right thing, making our customers successful, taking care of our team, pursuing excellence, and maximizing profit. This person will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Technician in repairing and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical/electronic equipment used in the manufacturing plant. He/She will also be responsible for performing and assisting with preventative maintenance tasks on all plant equipment. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. Dismantle machines or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and repair or replace. Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned Work Requests and Checklists. Assist with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment installations. Special duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor. Basic tools to perform the above tasks required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have basic industrial mechanical skills. Experience in industrial electrical a plus. Ability to enter daily work performed in CMMS Software. Must be able to read and follow written instructions. Education and Experience Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
