Maintenance Helper/Trainee

INTRODUCTION

We are looking for a Maintenance Helper to assist with maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities. You will perform various tasks, including basic repairs, cleaning and preventative maintenance, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to learn valuable skills in industrial maintenance as well as advance your career.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

.Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment Assist with the installation and setup of equipment. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment when necessary Follow direction and procedures and maintain a clean and orderly workplace Be willing to learn and understand the equipment, building facilities and the troubleshooting and repair aspect of maintenence

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equiv alent Basic repair skills are a plus Ability to use tools and equipment Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work independently Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
