Job Description
Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall functionality and safety of our facility, including the building infrastructure and production line equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure smooth operations across all areas of the facility. Candidates should possess electrical, plumbing, and mechanical knowledge to handle various maintenance tasks efficiently. Duties Oversee all general maintenance tasks within the building and on the production line, excluding electrical work that requires a licensed electrician. Replace or repair equipment on the production line and grinders that break or experience normal wear and tear. Perform routine upkeep such as changing light bulbs, fixing broken office furniture, replacing missing screws, and repairing door springs. Conduct basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Assist in troubleshooting issues related to building infrastructure or machinery to minimize downtime. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all maintenance activities. Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance, with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Ability to perform repairs on machinery and building infrastructure efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good physical condition with the ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Reliable team player with a proactive attitude towards maintenance responsibilities.
