Job Summary Pronto Staffing is looking for a Maintenance Worker to help with road and facility repairs. This is an entry-level role where you will work outdoors on a variety of construction and maintenance projects. You will help keep the community safe by repairing streets, installing signs, and managing traffic in work zones. Responsibilities Repair street surfaces by patching holes and laying hot mix asphalt Install and repair street signs and paint markings for crosswalks Mix, pour, and finish concrete for various projects Use tools and machinery safely to complete daily tasks Set up traffic control devices and direct traffic around work areas Clear debris from storm drains to keep them flowing properly Follow all safety rules and regulations at the job site Requirements Ability to read and write for job tasks Must have a valid driver's license Ability to speak and understand English No previous experience is required Must be reliable and able to work the scheduled hours Work Environment Work is performed outdoors in all types of weather Must be able to stand for long periods of time Regularly lift and move items weighing more than 100 pounds Exposure to loud noises, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations Work may involve high places or dusty conditions Benefits Great benefits available upon permanent hire
