Job Summary:
We are seeking an experience maintenance teammate for Medical City RV Resort in Houston. where we redefine the standard for workforce and long-term RV living. The ideal candidate for this park has hands-on maintenance experience and is comfortable handling a variety of repair, groundskeeping, and facility maintenance tasks. Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and good communication are essential. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through, and takes pride in keeping the property safe, functional, and looking its best. Full site credit is available for this position. This is a physically demanding position that may require lifting heavy objects, working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and operating tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine property maintenance tasks, including RV site checks, clean up, and repairs, to ensure the smooth operation of facilities within the RV park. Conduct regular inspections of park facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify areas in need of maintenance or repair. Follow checklists and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work completed. Monitor and maintain park equipment, such as tools, supplies, golf cart to ensure they are in good working condition. Resolve maintenance requests promptly, ranging from RV site issues, clean up, minor electrical and plumbing repairs to overseeing major repairs if needed. Maintain park grounds and common areas to create a visually appealing and safe environment for guests. Perform pool maintenance to keep our pool pristine and inviting. Manage and respond to maintenance emergencies, sometimes outside regular business hours. Enforce safety protocols and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential hazards to maintain a secure environment for both guests and staff.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid driver's license. Previous experience in general maintenance, construction, particularly in an RV park or similar setting, strongly preferred. Pool maintenance experience preferred but not required Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and occasionally perform physically demanding tasks. Physical ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds regularly. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch and climb. Able to work outdoors frequently and in various climates. Capable of moving safely over uneven terrain.
