Sports Complex Maintenance WorkerPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED Certificate Valid Texas Driver's License Must pass background checks & fingerprintingSALARY/BENEFITS
- 261 yearly workdays, 8 hour per day ($17.41 - $25.07 an hour)
- $30,000 life insurance policy
- Free Telehealth for employee & dependents
- $300 monthly towards insurance (if you take school insurance)
- 5 state leave days yearly, 4 local leave days yearly, 10 vacation days yearly
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Maintain 12 acres of sports facilities - mowing 3 times per week during growing season, maintaining sprinkler systems, fertilizing fields at proper times, spraying fields at proper times, maintaining all aspects of sports facilities (fences, painting, buildings, bleachers, grounds, etc.)- Must be able do regular moderate lifting (15-44 lbs.) and occasional heavy lifting (45 lbs.+)
- Frequent walking, climbing stairs/ladders, overhead reaching, etc.
- Inside and outside work year around, frequent exposure to temperature extremes (hot and cold)
- Other duties as assigned by Maintenance/Transportation Director or Superintendent
