• 3:30 pm Summary The Park Attendant will maintain the park's grounds and facilities, including cleaning restrooms and swimming pools, landscaping, painting, graffiti removal, and trash pick-up.

The Park Attendant is responsible for adhering to maintenance and safety standards that strengthen the community image and sense of place in all City parks. The Park Attendant will be committed to professional development in park maintenance. Essential Job Functions The Park Attendant will be required to work weekends and holidays (except Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day). Cleaning, sanitizing, and upkeeping of all city parks and facilities. Picking up trash at all parks, parking lots, and other areas. Maintains city parks by blowing, trash pick-up, painting, graffiti removal, and power washing. Inspects and repairs playground equipment, sports courts, splash pads, pavilions, skate parks, lake areas, and other city-owned property (including safety checks). Opens and locks public facilities as directed. Assist and support other duties as assigned to assist with special events, etc. Ancillary Job Functions Contributes to team effort by performing other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of park maintenance policies and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to use tools and cleaning supplies used in parks grounds maintenance. Ability to use tape measure and other maintenance tools. Occupational hazards and safety precautions. Knowledge of basic math and its applications. Ability to operate light equipment.
