Job Overview:

Works under general supervision within the Workshop environment carrying out maintenance, diagnosis and repairs to a range of oilfield equipment. Undertakes the preparation of equipment to Company standards in a safe manner for use within an operational environment. Pay depends on experience.

Duties:

Under supervision, perform the preventative and predictive maintenance and also troubleshoot and repair of equipment in line with work plans up to the required Company quality and certification standards. May be required to drive a forklift to undertake the movement, loading and unloading of equipment provided current driving qualification held. Perform required inspections of equipment and prepare the appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with company's policies, procedures and practices. Ensure that all documentation is the correct revision. Liaise with various internal departments such as logistics and stores to ensure all required components and movement of items is achieved to ensure timely completion of tasks in line with operational requirements. Actively participate in meetings to discuss safety, maintenance status/tasks, mobilization/demobilization updates etc. Adhere to company policies including but not limited to: the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, Quality Health Safety & Environmental (QHSE) policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation is minimized. If necessary, report possible violations or conflicts of interest. Take an active part in quality improvement processes. Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor and obtain authorization for any deviations from standard procedures. Take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma, GED or equivalent. 2-3 years previous work experience preferably in oilfield. Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Satisfactory results of pre-employment screening (ie background/MVR, drug/alcohol, physical). Knowledge of oil field rental tools or experience in casing equipment maintenance preferred. Good working knowledge of tools and good mechanical aptitude. Must be able to work in a shop / warehouse environment. Computer literate in Microsoft office (ie Outlook, Teams). Self motivated with excellent time management skills. Valid driver's license. Be available as needed on-call outside of regular schedule within 1 hour of call out. Must be able to work in a shop environment. Effectively communicates mechanical problems to shop leadership and assists in diagnosing and repairing issue(s). Ability to meet the physical demands of the job duties and work effectively in a high paced work flow. Must be able to read, speak, write English well enough to read technical documents and effectively communicate with team members. Physical Demands Regularly stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, and smell. Requires occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and exertion of force up to 42 lbs. Ability to see objects close, afar, and use peripheral vision is required. Ability to hear and take verbal direction over loud ambient noises is imperative for the safe execution of job duties. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noises. Works outdoors or in warehouse environment: regularly subject to cold, hot, wet or humid conditions resulting from weather or other various conditions.
