This energetic position involves performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and cosmetic tasks to ensure buildings are safe, functional, and inviting. Your expertise will help create a positive experience for residents and visitors alike, fostering a welcoming environment through skilled craftsmanship and proactive facilities management. Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Utilize hand tools, schematics, and electrical equipment to troubleshoot issues and execute repairs efficiently. Conduct facilities equipment maintenance, including HVAC system repair, plumbing system upkeep, and electrical work. Carry out painting tasks such as touch-ups and full interior painting to maintain aesthetic standards. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to diagnose electrical problems accurately. Assist with carpentry projects and general facilities maintenance to support building integrity and safety. Follow safety protocols while working with welding equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical components to prevent accidents. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference. Experience Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) within residential or commercial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, schematics, and electrical testing devices like ohmmeters. Familiarity with HVAC systems repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical equipment repair, and building interior upkeep. Knowledge of facilities equipment maintenance including carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and general building interior work. Ability to read technical schematics and troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical issues confidently. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior team members or coordinating maintenance activities effectively.
