This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, experience in various maintenance disciplines, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers and electrical systems. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Utilize mechanical knowledge to maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions. Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, including residential painting and general upkeep of the premises. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff or external vendors. Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership as necessary. Requirements Proven experience in maintenance roles, particularly within manufacturing settings. Strong electrical experience, with the ability to use tools such as an ohmmeter effectively. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and their applications in a maintenance context. Excellent mechanical knowledge, including the ability to read schematics. Prior supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
