JOB SUMMARY
The Town of Prosper is currently seeking qualified and dedicated individual for the position of:
Assistant Director Parks and Recreation Hiring Range:
$107,860.21 - $124,039.24
Salary Range:

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Four years of increasingly responsible experience in park operation, maintenance, and construction, including four years in a supervisory capacity. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Park Management, Parks or Recreation Administration, or related field. Must possess a valid Texas Class C driver's license. Must pass MVR check. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. The purpose of this position is to assist in the management of department operations. This is accomplished by managing divisional operations, developing plans and policies, preparing and implementing maintenance and operations budget and long-range capital improvement program budget. Other duties include long-range park system master planning, interacting with other City employees and citizens, and policy development in coordination with Park and Recreation Board and Parks and Facilities Development Corporation. This position provides direction to other employees.
