JOB SUMMARY

As a Pipefitter and Maintenance Helper, your job will consist of working with/putting together PVC, as well as maintaining other plant equipment and service work orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for building and equipment maintenance. Keep tool shop and work areas clear/clean of debris. Arrange tools/supplies as they come in - place in designated locations. Perform the service of preventative maintenance and work orders. Write work orders when needed. Perform weekly checks of safety showers. Perform daily compressor checks. Ability to perform functions using hand power tools and machinery. Assist Supervisors with preventative maintenance and projects. Tasks include welding, pipe fitting, painting and fabrication of equipment. Work in accordance with company policies and procedures. Report missing or broken inventory tools daily / weekly to Supervisor Participate in OSHA and HAZMAT training annually. Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

At least 1 year of pipefitting experience. Must be familiar with PVC. Must be dependable and punctual. Centrifugal pump and/or double diaphragm pump experiance is a huge plus. Previous DOT or HAZMAT traning/experience is highly preferred. Some welding experience is helpful, but not required. Must undergo a background and drug screen. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must have good overall mechanical skills. Must be eager to learn new skills and flexible to assist with a variety of maintenance projects.

Day Shift M-F 7am-4pm Night Shift M-TH 6pm-5am

STARTING PAY

$19-23 an hour
