MAINTENANCE HELPER SCHERTZ, TX 78154 JOB SUMMARY

Snelling Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Helper to support an experienced maintenance team with facility repairs, preventative maintenance, painting, and general upkeep in a busy industrial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to build valuable maintenance skills. Previous maintenance experience is helpful but not required—we're looking for candidates with a strong work ethic who are eager to learn.

MAINTENANCE HELPER PAY & DETAILS

Pay range: Starting at $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00

MAINTENANCE HELPER DUTIES

Assist maintenance technicians with facility repairs and maintenance projects Help complete preventative maintenance tasks throughout the facility Paint safety lines, curbs, walkways, equipment, and designated work areas Move materials, tools, and equipment to support maintenance operations Use basic hand tools while assisting with maintenance projects Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Remove debris and maintain a clean industrial environment Work safely around equipment, forklifts, and vehicle traffic

MAINTENANCE HELPER REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED:

Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to reliably commute to work Ability to perform physical work throughout the day Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Must successfully pass pre-employment screening (background check and drug screen may apply)

PREFERRED

Experience in maintenance, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, landscaping, moving, production, or general labor Familiarity with basic hand and power tools Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
