Part-Time Maintenance and Custodial Assistant Reports To:

Maintenance and Custodial Supervisor; Associate Pastor;

Staff-Parish Relations Committee Hours:

Part-Time, (no more than 20 hrs/Week) Sundays between 7:30am-1:30pm, or until work is complete. Mondays as needed for heavy cleansing tasks and special projects. Wednesdays between 6:00pm and 9:00pm to clean up the Family Life Center (FLC) and ensuring building is locked. Friday 7:30am to 11:30am. Clean the entire Family Life Center and do any maintenance needed. Available for pre-planned Evening and Saturday Events (hourly)

Function:

Work involves the cleaning and sanitation work in an assigned building or work area, and occasional special project work. Work requires the application of proper cleaning methods and materials performed in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Employee works under the general supervision of our Maintenance and Custodial Supervisor. Work is reviewed and evaluated through inspection of work performed. Regular Duties and Expectations (include, but are not restricted to):  Cleaning and supplying designated building areas  Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities  Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or  maintenance  Carrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as requested  Keep cleaning supplies in stock  Clean Gathering room  Help custodian/maintenance supervisor as requested  Use disinfecting machine in Family Life center  Sweeping and mopping floors  Wiping down countertops  Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, countertops and sinks  Trash removal  Cleaning public area glass, windows and entrance doors  Other duties as required/assigned.
