Help Us Cultivate Highland! Highland City is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Parks and Recreation team as a Parks Operator. This position is essential in maintaining and enhancing our city's beautiful parks and green spaces. Job Summary As a Parks Operator, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of Highland City parks, facilities, and recreational areas. Your duties will include but are not limited to groundskeeping, equipment operation, facility maintenance, and event support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Full Job Description Attached) Lead seasonal employee in park maintenance. Maintain park grounds, including mowing, trimming, planting, and weeding. Operate various pieces of equipment such as tractors, mowers, and other power tools. Perform general maintenance and repairs on park facilities, playgrounds, and equipment. Assist in preparing and setting up for park events and activities. Enforce park rules and regulations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Utah Commercial (Class A) Driver's License. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects. Experience in construction, groundskeeping or related field. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
