ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Must be safety conscious and have a good safety record and ability to advocate housekeeping and safety standards in the Department.
  • Maintain/Improve facilities floors, patching, epoxy, etc.
  • Perform safety checks and preventive maintenance on the building and equipment.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks, such as painting, landscaping, basic plumbing.
  • Maintain and monitor some equipment to ensure reliability and consistency with environmental, health and safety standards.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor such as custodial work, pest control, snow removal, yard care.
  • Ensures documentation is created / completed on daily activities.
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts, carts, floor maintenance machines, company truck.
  • Job Assignments may be added, deleted, or modified What will make you successful?
  • Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field
  • Electrical skills preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Good organizational and time management skill
  • Ability to meet deadlines
