Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and janitorial tools Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning and sanitation tasks, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment following safe lifting practices to prevent injury Maintain facility cleanliness by performing industrial cleaning tasks, including trash removal, surface disinfecting, and floor care Assist with basic maintenance duties such as minor repairs, painting (residential or commercial), and ensuring equipment is in good working order Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while following safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others Support custodial operations by stocking supplies, managing inventory of cleaning materials, and ensuring all areas meet sanitation standards Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques Skilled in handling chemical agents safely with understanding of chemical handling safety procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices Strong customer service orientation to respond professionally to requests from staff or visitors when needed Familiarity with floor buffers, buffing techniques, and general floor care maintenance Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and painting projects Experience operating cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and other custodial tools Adherence to safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure environment for staff and visitors Join us in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment!
