Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. This full-time position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs and safety hazards. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and materials used. Assist with the setup and breakdown of facilities for events and activities. Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Collaborate with other team members and departments to support facility operations and improvements. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in maintenance or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as a maintenance worker or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair procedures. Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license required. This is a one year position.
