Job Summary:

The Fleet & Facilities Maintainer is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining buses and related facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. They support preventive maintenance activities and assist with record-keeping to uphold safety standards and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning of buses, including washing, sweeping, and trash removal. Maintain cleanliness of seats, windows, floors, and high-touch areas to ensure hygiene. Clean and sanitize office spaces and bathrooms. Report vehicle defects to the maintenance team. Ensure buses meet safety standards and verify documentation such as registration and inspection certificates. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and cleaning schedules. Assist mechanics with scheduled preventive maintenance and parts replacement under supervision. Keep the maintenance shop clean and organized, supporting a safe work environment. Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and team members regarding bus status and maintenance needs. Support operations during vehicle malfunctions or breakdowns.
