Electrical :
Recognizes and reports electrical problems. Replaces fluorescent and incandescent ballast, blubs and tubes. Carpentry :
Measures, cuts and constructs or repairs wood or wood substitute items. Conducts basic carpentry repairs such as repairing or replacing screens, window and doorframes, molding and trim, and repair and replacement of drywall or similar products. Applies general knowledge of wood, composite merials, wood substitutes, and woodworking techniques, as well as basic mhemics to plan, measure and lay out merials according to dimensional requirements and specificions. Incumbent applies standard measurements and specificions when constructing, installing, or repairing items such as frame structures, decking, partitions, shelving, doors, forms, siding and scaffolds.
Painting :
Preparion of areas and standard coing methods such as brushing, rolling and spraying to ensure surfaces are fully coed, protected and free from drips or runs. Incumbent uses specificions to thin, stir and mix coing merials according to specific directions. They apply various coing merials (paints, varnishes or shellacs) with brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other reled methods or techniques ensuring th the coing finish meets surface protection requirements. May assists with set-up/breakdown of events or special projects. Observes required safety, sanition and hazardous waste disposal rules and regulions. May opere a vehicle to transport tools and merials to work site. Performs other reled duties as assigned.
