Full-time Hourly Non-Exempt Reports to:Maintenance & Facilities Manager Starting Wage:
$25.-45 hours per week About the Role Are you someone who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, cleanly, and safely? Advance Transit is looking for a Facility & Maintenance Service Worker to join our team and help maintain our buses, facilities, and community spaces that thousands of riders rely on every day. This position plays a vital role in supporting the heart of public transportation-ensuring our buses, shelters, and facilities stay safe, clean, and ready to roll. What You'll Do Every day brings something new!You'll:
- Clean and maintain buses, shelters, and facilities to keep our system shining.
- Fuel and inspect buses, keeping detailed records.
- Perform basic repairs, snow removal, lawn care, and general upkeep of AT properties.
- Support the maintenance team with road calls and inspections.
- Represent Advance Transit proudly while keeping our community's transit system in top condition. Schedule and Hours This position offers a varied schedule with no weekends and 40-45 hours per week. You'll typically work 2 to 3 closing shifts each week, which means working until approximately 9:30 p.m. What We're Looking For
- A team player with great attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Someone who can stay cool under pressure and tackle hands-on work with pride.
- Basic mechanical know-how and the ability to work safely and efficiently.
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- CDL with Passenger Endorsement and an active DOT Medical Card (or willingness to obtain).
