Responsibilities Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and weed control to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy. Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hardscape tools with precision and safety. Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to maintain healthy plant life. Conduct plant identification to assess health needs and apply appropriate horticultural practices or pest management techniques. Maintain grounds by performing snow plowing during winter months and managing seasonal landscaping tasks. Implement safety protocols during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety standards. Assist with tree care, gardening projects, landscape design enhancements, and the installation of hardscape features as needed. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping and groundskeeping equipment. Strong outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds maintenance, landscaping, or horticulture. Knowledge of plant identification, pesticide management, irrigation systems, and lawn care techniques. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively. Familiarity with safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment use. Experience in snow plowing or winter weather maintenance is a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
