Job Description
Key duties/responsibilities of Hotel maintenance engineer: 1. Respond to all guest's requests in a timely and efficient manner 2. Respond or perform duties of a groundskeeper 3. Complete work order requests in a timely manner 4. Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition 5. Inspect public areas daily for any issues 6. After hours on-call availability if an issue arises, available some weekends 7. Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices 8. Repairs may include plumbing, kitchen, mechanical, laundry, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs 9. Maintain the Rooms Preventative Maintenance Program and consistently keep updated records on file. 10. Maintain pool and spa.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School diploma.Maintenance Engineer Experience:
Minimum of one-year working as a hotel maintenance engineer or other building maintenance experience. General administrative tasks are also preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light work standing and walking frequently for up to entire work shift. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, up to 75 or more pounds occasionally, exerting a negligible amount of force frequently, including constantly to reach, lift, carry, push, pull, grasp, manipulate or otherwise move objects i.e. pieces of paper, files and binders. Frequent use of computer keyboard (fingering) and computer mouse, near and far acuity (vision), hearing, talking. occasional frequency of bending, squatting, twisting and turning. As a seasonal property, long hours during peak periods sometimes required.Job Type:
