Job Description

Join our team as a Maintenance Worker in a fun, fast-paced environment with room to grow! The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing various maintenance tasks in and around both casino locations including maintenance and repair of the facilities equipment, performs carpentry duties as needed and lifts, moves and installs various equipment to execute established event set up requirements. Provides superior guest service to casino patrons while on the gaming floor. Performs other job related duties as assigned by the department manager. Starting wage is $21.20/hr increasing to $21.50/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience & Requirements:
At least one year maintenance experience is recommended Must have a valid Washington State driver's license with the ability to be insured and bonded Must provide a recent copy of driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles and have no more than 3 moving violations in the last three years
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours The ability to lift up to 65 pounds Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
