Full Job Description Overview:
Repair and maintain building and equipment at the Kent facility. Benefits for Harbor Team Members include paid vacation, sick, personal and holidays, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with a generous employer match and Employee Assistance Program. The pay range is between $ 28.00 per hour and $ 36 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the safe operation of all warehouse and office equipment, such as: warehouse dock doors, dock levelers, HVAC, lighting and warehouse racking. Assist other Facilities mechanics as needed for various maintenance projects. Various remodeling projects, including repairing sheet rock, painting, framing. Carpenter skill set a plus. Monitor electrical equipment through warehouse and office work spaces. Repair or replace electrical equipment as needed for normal and safe operation. Monitor and maintain the safe and normal operation of the facilities fire sprinkler system with assistance from outside service vendors. Other responsibilities and duties as assigned including welding and fabricating projects.
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or Equivalent required. Qualified individual will present well-rounded skills in maintenance, welding, electrical, plumbing and woodworking. Three (3) to five (5) years industrial experience preferred. Ability to operate power tools, use hand tools and drive forklift is required. Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test. Ability to lift 100 lbs. at times 80% of time on feet. Provide own hand tools. Equal Employment Opportunity Employer M/F/Vets/Disabled.
