Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at the Holiday Inn - Madison. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs in guest rooms and hotel common areas to insure working order. Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance activities. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Quore Property Management. Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding junior staff members during maintenance tasks. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols while performing all maintenance duties. Experience Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a hotel setting. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in machinery. Experience with Quore Property Management for tracking maintenance activities is preferred. Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Leadership experience is a plus, showcasing the ability to mentor others in maintenance practices.
