Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. Responsibilities Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and facilities equipment to identify issues early and prevent downtime Perform repairs on electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and mechanical components using appropriate hand tools and schematics Maintain building interior by executing tasks such as painting, carpentry, and general facilities upkeep Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment using tools like ohmmeters and follow electrical schematics for complex systems Carry out welding tasks and mechanical repairs to ensure structural integrity and safety standards are met Support maintenance painting projects to enhance the appearance and protection of facility surfaces Assist with plumbing system maintenance including leak repairs, pipe replacements, and fixture servicing Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in compliance with operational procedures Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to internal requests for maintenance support Maintains building landscaping and lawn during summer and parking lot and walkway in winter. Requirements Proven experience with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), including electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, carpentry, welding, and building interior maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools and electrical equipment repair Familiarity with plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of facilities equipment maintenance standards within residential or commercial settings Ability to perform maintenance painting projects safely and effectively Experience working with HVAC systems including repairs or routine servicing is highly desirable Uses own tools for internal repairs.
