Job Description
Seasonal Groundskeeper/Maintenance Helper Camp Summers - Forest Hill, WV Summer 2026 (March-October) Camp Summers is hiring a reliable groundskeeper/maintenance helper for our 55-acre retreat center in the scenic New River Gorge region. Maintain outdoor areas, facilities, and assist with light repairs to keep the camp safe and welcoming for groups. Responsibilities Mow, weed eat, trim, rake, and maintain lawns, fields, and trails Clean and upkeep sporting courts, pool area, pavilion, and other facilities Perform general grounds maintenance (trash pickup, debris removal, minor landscaping) Assist with light facility maintenance and repairs (cabins, bath houses, buildings) Help prepare site between group rentals and ensure safety standards Requirements Groundskeeping, landscaping, or maintenance experience preferred (will train) Able to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and operate basic equipment Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Age 18+, pass background check Perks Beautiful mountain location Meals provided on shift Apply Email resume to: campsummerswv@summerscountywv.gov.
