Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Provides facilities management and support services for BBAHC village clinics and other assigned facilities in the Nushagak Rover and Bay Central and Western service areas. Responsible for life safety, physical environment, Joint Commission compliance, preventative and corrective maintanence, work order performance, custodial standards, contract oversight, day-to-day public safety response, community and clinic communication, service are budget, and biomedical equipment coordination at assigned sites. Also responsible for day-to-day operational management of assigned BBAHC off-campus buildings in Dillingham.
ASSIGNED SERVICE AREA
Assigned village clinics currently include
Nushagak River and Bay Central:
Aleknagik, Clarks Point, Ekwok, Koliganek, New Stuyahok.
Western villages include:
Goodnews Bay, Manokotak, Platinum, Twin Hills
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or GED. Associate's degree in business, finance, health administration, engineering, architecture, or facilities management preferred. 2. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or lead experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, or skilled trade, preferably including rural or remote sites. 3. Understanding of logistics in rural Alaska. 4. Ability to provide leadership for staff in Village Facility operations; ability to work cooperatively with departmental provider and support staff, management and administration, and the community (Village Councils, village management); capacity to enjoy varied work assignments and to work with minimal supervision and direction. 5. Effective written and verbal communication skills required. Computer (Word, Excel, ADP, and Workflow) experience. 6. Ability to carry out diverse tasks concurrently and to efficiently organize workload; ability to foster cooperation, enthusiasm, and commitment from departmental staff. 7. Possess exceptional analytical and conceptual skills, and capacity to maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies.

Field maintenance and laborer positions assigned to the service area.
